Hello and welcome! My name is Rivky Friedman, I am a wife and mother to four children, all born at home! Growing up, my mother became a midwife during my early teenage years, and I witnessed firsthand the many hours and dedication that midwives devote to their clients. I also became aware of the struggles associated with receiving insurance payments.
In 2015, I began assisting my mother with her office work and quickly realized the immense challenges involved in securing proper compensation for midwifery care. The insurance companies do not recognize the hard work, endless hours, and energy midwives dedicate to caring for mothers and babies. This personal experience ignited my passion for solving this very complex issue.
After years of trial and error and learning the ins and outs of insurance, we have become proficient in the complexities of the process.
Today, we have built an incredible team and mastered the intricacies of insurance billing for both in-network and out-of-network midwives as well as birth center facilities in NY and NJ. We pride ourselves on securing maximum reimbursement rates for claims and ensuring a quick turnaround time.

Certain plans require a referral from a PCP (Primary Care Provider) in order for services to be covered. We will contact your client’s PCP directly and obtain the necessary referr
Some insurance policies are self funded or out of state and although they may provide maternity coverage, they do not follow state law. In these cases we will work with the insurance company to have the services considered outside the terms of the policy.
All claims are filed daily and electronically using the latest industry technology unless a paper claim is required. Follow up calls are made regularly and payment is pursued aggressively.
We will determine the best approach to filing your claims either global or itemized. Our goal is for you to receive the maximum reimbursement for your services. We are highly skilled at billing transfers.
